The Abyssinian is an ancient cat breed, believed to have originated in Ethiopia. Their most striking feature is the 'ticked' coat, where each hair has bands of color, giving them a shimmering, multi-tonal appearance. They have a lean, muscular body and large ears, giving them an alert and intelligent look. Like the INTJ type, they are very smart, curious, and active. They love to explore every corner of the house and are excellent jumpers, often found in high places. Abyssinians are not typical lap cats but are very loyal to their families and enjoy being involved in household activities.
